Great Women in History:

Hyseria, Hynotism. Internment in an insane asylum. Is that any way for a nice social worker to begin? It was, in the case of Anna O, the first person in history to be psychoanalyzed; Lillian Wald, the rich woman from the Midwest who battled thugs on New York's lower East Side as she founded the Henry Street Settlement., and Eleanor Roosevelt, the "ugly duckling" of her family who had to live under the thumb of her husband's dictatorial mother - until she liberated herself. Scenes from these plays will be interspersed with poetry readings.

Meals on Reels:

Time travel to yesteryear, and other exciting destinations in a lively program of original humor-spiced stories, articles and poems (much about food). Merilee reads her article Stars Under Stress: celebrities, just like you and I, reach for comfort food. But what's in the cookie jars of Beverly Sills, Lynn Redgrave and Gene Shallit and so much more!
