Description:

This is a wonderful unique chamber ensemble consisting of harp, flute, strings, and clarinet. This combination of instruments was extremely popular with French composers during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and as such, Canta Libre specializes in a repertoire niche which truly brings the music and cultural atmosphere of turn-of-the century Paris to audiences in the twenty century.

Description:

A resident of Long Island, Ms. Uckardes has been the concertmistress of hte Nassau Community College Symphony Orchestra for the past  years and is currently the concertmistress of the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra. She is also a violinist for the Island Chamber Symphony.
