Description:

This movie licensing workshop will cover the legal issues and copyright responsibilities to consider when a library shows a movie or film. It will also include the various licensing companies that offer performance rights as well as companies and websites that are possible sources of films and more information. In addition, learn how to select movies and films for different audiences and how to conduct a film discussion program.

The speaker is John Bosco, the current Director at Wantagh Public Library. He has previously presented this workshop at NLS and also presents film discussion programs at various libraries.
